Empowering BIPOC Communities

HOW WE WORK

National Strategy.

Local Activation.

Collective Impact.

HPOC United operates through a national-to-local model designed to deliver culturally rooted holistic health programs with consistency, integrity, and measurable impact.

NATIONAL

Strategy • Design • Coordination

At the national level, HPOC United is led by the National Dream Team, a centralized leadership group responsible for:

  • Designing national wellness programs and initiatives

  • Developing culturally aligned program toolkits

  • Securing partnerships, sponsorships, and funding

  • Establishing quality standards and best practices

  • Coordinating multi-city and multi-state program rollouts

  • Ensuring consistency, accountability, and impact

The national team provides the vision, structure, and resources that allow programs to be executed seamlessly across the country.

LOCAL

Community Leadership • Activation • Execution

At the local level, HPOC United works through Community Ambassadors and HPOC Community Members.

Community Ambassadors serve as the local point people when national initiatives are activated in their communities. They:

  • Coordinate local logistics and venues

  • Activate trusted local community members

  • Support hiring of local holistic practitioners and facilitators

  • Serve as cultural and community liaisons

  • Ensure programs reflect local needs and values

HPOC Community Members support and staff initiatives locally, ensuring healing work is rooted in trust, cultural familiarity, and community relationships.

IMPACT

Healing • Economic Opportunity • Equity

This model allows HPOC United to create meaningful impact by:

  • Delivering culturally responsive wellness programs

  • Expanding access to holistic health in underserved communities

  • Creating opportunities for local practitioners and healers

  • Strengthening community trust and participation

  • Producing scalable, funder-ready outcomes

By combining national coordination with local leadership, HPOC United ensures that healing is both effective and equitable.
