About
Before healing became an industry, Africa healed itself. This is not a certification. This is not a trend. This is an initiation. The Initiation into African-Centered Holistic Healing is a one-month immersive experience designed to reconnect you to African healing philosophies, disciplines, and responsibilities that existed long before colonization separated medicine from spirit, body from community, and healing from culture. WHO THIS IS FOR This initiation is for you if: You feel called to holistic healing but don’t know where to begin You are tired of fragmented, Western-only wellness models You feel a deep pull toward African-centered knowledge and discipline You want to heal yourself before attempting to heal others You seek cultural legitimacy, not spiritual aesthetics You do not need prior training. You do not need to identify as a “healer.” You only need readiness. PROGRAM STRUCTURE Duration: 4 weeks Live Sessions: Saturdays | 4 hours each (Live via Zoom) Format: Teaching • Discussion • Embodied practice • Independent discipline Each week includes: A 4-hour live council session Required independent work during the week Reflection, discipline, and ritual-based assignments This initiation requires participation, not passive watching. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE Over four weeks, you will explore: The African worldview of health, illness, and prevention How colonization disrupted African healing systems The body as an intelligent, communicative system Food, plants, breath, and discipline as medicine Ethical responsibility in African-centered healing Personal healing identity and readiness This is not about memorizing information.
