2026 Tanzania Nevels Holistic Health Awards

The Tanzania Nevels Holistic Health Awards, presented by the Holistic Professionals of Color (HPOC), were created to recognize and celebrate the powerful work being done by holistic practitioners of color who are committed to healing and uplifting communities of color.
The Holistic Professionals of Color Association is a nationwide network of practitioners, educators, and advocates dedicated to addressing health disparities through natural, holistic, and culturally relevant healing practices. Our work centers on reclaiming healing traditions that were often colonized, criminalized, or dismissed, and ensuring that communities of color have access to wellness practices that honor their cultural heritage.
Named after Tanzania Nevels, whose vision helped inspire this award, the Tanzania Nevels Holistic Health Awards honor practitioners who are making meaningful contributions to the holistic health movement. These awards highlight individuals who are not only skilled in their healing practices but who are also deeply committed to serving and empowering their communities.
Each year, we invite the public to help us identify these outstanding healers by submitting nominations across eight different categories recognizing excellence in holistic health, community impact, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Nomination Guidelines
Before submitting your nominations, please review the following guidelines:

We encourage you to nominate practitioners who are truly dedicated to healing, educating, and empowering communities of color through holistic health practices.
